Everyone sees Maki: the woman with the stunning physique who brings the train to a halt, the figure walking through the company halls under the judgment of her superiors and the blatant disrespect of those she is supposed to lead. Though the organizational chart says she’s in charge, she doesn’t feel that way; she feels invisible. To the rest of the world, she is just the woman with the breasts, an unfair label that forces her to work three times as hard to achieve results that no one seems to value beyond her appearance.

What no one sees is the single mother clenching her teeth every morning just to keep from collapsing. Beneath those formal clothes that serve as armor, Maki buries the sensitive, affectionate, and tender woman she truly is, fearing that any trace of softness will be mistaken for the weakness everyone expects from her.

But tonight, the roar of the typhoon outside is only an echo of the storm Maki has been repressing for years. Finding herself in the intimacy of that room, facing the only man who stopped to recognize her sacrifice as a mother, the wall of ice finally shatters. It isn’t pride that remains, but an irrepressible urgency to be a woman before being an employee or a silhouette. Instinct pushes her to stop waiting, and for the first time, she is the one who decides to take what she desires, seeking in him the tenderness that the world has denied her for so long.
